Science Report was a weekly science show created by Anglia Television in the 1970's.

In 1977 they produced a Spoof Documentary that investigated the strange disappearances of top science and intelligent folk. They went on to discover footage of a unmanned landing on Mars in 1962 where life was discovered.

The original Aired date is shown in the film as April 1st 1977, but in the end was aired in June of 1977.

However, even though it was claimed to be a hoax after airing it, it still created a lot of fuzz. It has been claimed that the footage of the Mars landing is indeed real, and that they used actors for the documentary as none of the real persons involved wanted to go public. In addition, the publisher of the story had been contacted by many high-ranking governmental officials about this story, asking in depth questions, indicating that he had indeed been on to something. This video can be labeled as Fiction based on Facts.
